Born Giovanni Giuseppe Scacco, he immigrated to the US through Ellis Island, NY, and spent his younger years living in New York City. He married Josephine Fina June 2, 1946. They lived in Long Beach CA, and Las Vegas NV. They had 3 sons; Alan, John and Steven. John was an accountant and a wonderful father and husband.
