Marion Ellsworth Daniel was born in Harlem Springs, Ohio and moved west to Missouri in 1875 with his parents and family, living in the area of Cameron Missouri.

On Mar 29,1883 he married Marinda E Carman in Maysville, Missouri. The couple had 5 children, all of whom were born in Cameron, Missouri. They were:
Harry Lee (Mar 28, 1884)
Bessie May (Nov 7, 1885)
Charles Luther (Mar 1, 1887)
Wilber James (Mar 27, 1889)
Caroline Essie (Oct 21, 1890)

After Carman's death (Oct 7, 1891), he married Sarah Ellen St. Clair on Feb 9, 1896. Marion and Sarah had two children:
Marion Jessee (Feb 22, 1897)
Thodore Roosevelt (Aug 7, 1900)
Both of these children wre born in Kansas City, Missouri.

Some time later Marion and Sarah with their family moved to Colorado, apparently living in the Lyons area, where Marion and Sarah are buried.

Their son Marion Jessee Daniel was killed by a train in Westminster, CO on Sept 30, 1915, at the age of 18.

By trade, Marion was a carpenter.
