William I. Redford

William Isaac Redford, 88, of 703 Laurel street, Highland, died Saturday at 5:40 p.m. at St. Joseph hospital there where he had been a patient the past three months. Final rites will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Spengel-Goulanger funeral home, Highland, with the Rev. Arby Hosto of the Grantfork Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Interment will be in the Highland city cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening until the time of service.

The deceased was born July 23, 1870 in Madison county. He was married Aug. 16, 1892 to Clara Franz, who preceded him in death June 3, 1924. His second wife, Emily Wehrle, whom he married in 1926, died in 1935. Also preceding him in death were a son, Raymond Redford, and a daughter, Elsie Koehnoman.

Survivors are a son, William H. Redford of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Eva Flatt of Paola, Kan.; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Redford was a member of the Grantfork E & R church.
