Clarence J. DeWitt, the son of W.H.W. and Laura Reger DeWitt, was born Christmas Day 1877 and died at home near Reger MO 14 June 1948. Sons born, Arthur the oldest died in boyhood; Clarence Donald of Los Angeles CA; John Edward of Reger and Dr. Ralph Odgen DeWitt of Waynesville MO. Also leaves grandchildren, (8 but only 6 named) Linda Lou and Garry of Waynesville; Betty Sue of Chillicothe MO; Alta Lou, Nancy Margaret and John Wesbert DeWitt of Reger; sisters Mabel Ziegler of Green City MO and Mrs Humphreys of Trenton MO; VeraVan Fossan of Milan MO; Jennie Reed of Milan and Josie Fields of Reger. burial in Henry Cemetery.
