Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday in the Calvary Baptist Church here for Jack A. Clayton, who died in St. Mary's Hospital, Tucson on December 11.

Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Casa Grande.

Mr. Clayton was a lifelong farmer in the southwest and spent most of his life in Arizona and California.

He was born in Denver, Colorado on Sept, 13, 1888. At the age of 14 years he became a member of the Baptist Church there. He was married in 1912 in Blythe, California, to Mattie Welch.

Surviving him are his wife; five sons: Albert, Walter, Raymond, Jimmie and Tommie; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Robert Clayton, of Ontario, OR; sister, Mrs. C. H. Smith, of National City, CA; three half-brothers and two half-sisters; and a host of friends.
