Friday, January 30, 2009 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. John Baker officiating. Interment Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Montine Dowis. Mr. Dowis is survived by a Son and a Grandson. Sisters and Brother-in-law: Linda and Eddie Oakes, Lawrenceville; Sandra and Tim Ruark, Boswick; Frankie and Van Britt, Snellville. Family will receive friends from 1-2 PM.
