Ethel and Linwood divorced on October 17, 1929 in Richmond, Virginia.
Ethel married a second time to Hansford (Slatz) Arthur Maddox on September 14, 1956 in Emporia, Greensville County, Virginia They are buried next to each other but no one has put Hansford's name, etc. on the Monument. Ethel was a diabetic and had both legs amputated. Ethel was a sister to Robert Lee, Mortimer Milton and Katie Dorothea Mills Gregson. Mortimer and Katie are also buried in St. Mary's.
