Richard Ray Snook, 81, of Moore OK, passed away July 28, 2011. He was born October 21, 1929, to David and Eva Snook in Key West OK. He was 1 of 13 children. Richard was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Moore. He graduated from Moore High School in 1947. Richard was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post in Moore. He was an educator in every venue as teacher, principal, and job corps. Richard was an enthusiastic gardener. He had zest for life and was a great storyteller. He loved his family and friends very much and was loved by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Patty, of the home; children Laree Reid and husband Jim of Moore OK and Larry Snook and wife Barbara of Moore OK; grandchildren Preston Snook, Adam Snook, and Tyler Snook, all of Moore OK; sisters Betty Snider and husband Harry of Moore OK; and Juanita Reed of Del City OK; a host of other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Owen and Eva Snook; and all but 2 of his siblings.
