Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1993, in NorthBay Medical Center after a short illness.
A native of Hollis, Okla., she lived in Fairfield the past 50 years. She worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell for more than 35 years before retiring in 1963. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel R. Smith of Fairfield, daughters, Jeanette Lobdell of Grand Junction, Colo., Sherry Bell and Renee Casten of Suisun City and Lori Aday of Oakley, sister, Winifred Cooperider of Vacaville; brothers, J. B. Adams of Texas and Elmer G. Adams of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private in Fairmont Memorial Park.
Donations may be made to the Kaiser Hospice, 975 Sereno Drive, Vallejo, Calif. 94595.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
