Services for Dan Lawrence of Arcadia were Sept. 16 in Conger’s Funeral Home with the Rev. George York and Owen Perry officiating. Burial was in Bear Creek Cemetery.
Lawrence, 86, died Sept. 15. He was a retired after many years as a house painter. Lawrence was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arcadia.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Odell L. Kiteley of Gendora, Calif., and Mary L. Watson of Shreveport; two sons, William T. Lawrence of Los Angeles and James D. Lawrence of Houston; four sisters, Lorene Lyles of Mt. Lebanon, Lillian Vail of Hodge, Lucille Shaw of Colorado City, Texas, and Myrtice Jones of Carthage, Texas; one brother, Gordon Lawrence of Carthage, Texas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
