Marcile M. Akom, 67, Scott, died at 2:20 a.m. today in Caylor Nickel Clinic, Bluffton, In., following an extended ilness.

Born March 23, 1909, in Harrison Township, she was a daughter of Nathan and Fanny Gause.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene P., whom she married November 29, 1926. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary this month. Also surviving are six sons, Robert, James and Donald, all of Scott, Danny, of Blissfield, Mi., Maurice of Haviland and Richard, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Jean Alice) Mullen and Mrs. Robert (Mary Lou) Tarlton of Scott and Mrs. Richard (Rebecca) Ladd of Cloverdale; two brothers, Fred and Ray Gause of Warsaw, In., a sister, Mrs. Lula Pressler, of Columbia City, In; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A granddaughter is deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Pentecostal Church, Scott, with the Rev. Vaughn Saum, officiating. He will be assissted by the Rev. Martin Leonard. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Alspachs and one hour before the service in the church.

Preferred memorials are to the church.
