Wadley - The funeral for Mrs. Sally Coger Simpson, 84, of Opelika, will be held at Mountain Spring Baptist Church near Wadley with burial in the church cemetery today, Friday, July 6, 1984, at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Maynard Mooney officiating.
Mrs. Simpson, who was born in Tallapoosa County June 8, 1900, died Wednesday, July 4, 1984. She was a member of Mountain Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. G. C. Hilyer of Opelika, and Mrs. John Bailey of Roanoke; one sister, Lavetta Turner of LaFayette; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Sanders Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
