Funeral of A C Harrington Held Wed. Afternoon
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, from the B C Hill Funeral Home for A C Harrington, whose death occurred late Tuesday evening. He was 46 years old. A native of Chickasaw county, Mr. Harrington was the son of the late A J Harrington and Flora Harrington.
Mr. Harrington for a number of years has been in the transfer and taxi business with offices in the Houston Hotel. He was a member of the Baptist church. While he has been an invalid for 12 years, his condition did not become serious until two weeks ago.
Burial was in the Houston Cemetery, the Rev. W C Stewart officiating. Pall bearers were: Ben Woods, John Rhodes, O L Walker, Woodrow Brand, Tom Scarbrough and Fred Dulaney.
Besides his wife who was Miss Zella Parker, he leaves two brothers, A J Harrington and A D Harrington, of Houston.
