Fant Funeral Held Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. Eufaula (Faula) Kimbriel Fant, 59, were held on Sunday at 2 pm at Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Hathorn officiating.
Mrs. Fant died July 12 at the Graceland Nursing Home in Oxford after an extended illness.
Interment was in the Houston Cemetery.
Mrs. Fant was born in Webster County the daughter of William Vanderbilt Kimbriel and Dora May Scott. A retired beauty shop owner and nurse, she was the widow of A E Fant. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Houston.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lynn Ashby, Hernando, and Mrs. Peggy Baltz of Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Rex Kimbriel of Greenville and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Henry Lee Taylor, Wallace Norman, Jr., Charles Carlisle, Larry Bonds, Franklin Lowe, and Forrest Wofford.
