Joe Funnell was born in Farwell Michigan, on October 24, 1954, to his parents Vernon and Mildred Funnell. He married Wanda Fowler in 1974 and had two sons, David and Andy Funnell. Joe moved with his family to Zephyrhills, Florida, in 1970. He worked at the Thriftway grocery store as a teenager and then later worked at the Publix grocery store until his death. Joe is survived by: his mother, Mildred; four brothers, Lewis (Ruthie) Funnell, Jack (Delia) Funnell, LeRoy Funnell, and Rob Funnell; and five sisters Ginny (Fred) Horn, Joan (Joe) Hrdlovich, Peggy Glasgow, Cindy Agle, and Christine (Brian) Harris. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Funnell. He is buried at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills, Florida.
