Mrs. Ruth E. Bartley, 54, of Dutch Hill, West Monterey RD 1, died yesterday morning at Butler County Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Clifford and Lydia Campbell Rodgers, she was born in Dewey, Okla, April 19, 1913.
Surviving are her husband, George W. Bartley of West Monterey RD1; two daughters, Mrs Oscar (Neiline) Kammerdiener of Karns City , and Lydia Bartley of West Monterey RD1; two sons Harry G. of West Monterey RD 1 and Samuel R of Parker RD 2; two sisters, Mrs Nellie Calhoun of Petrolia and Mrs Belle Leager of Long Beach, Calif; a brother, Asa Rodgers of Odessa, Tex; and 10 grandchildren.
A son preceded her in death.
Mrs Bartley was a member of the Church of God of Dutch hill and the Rebekah Lodge of West Freedom.
BARTLEY-- Friends of Mrs Ruth E. Bartley, who died Tuesday, Jan 23, 1968, will be received at the Fred S. Bowser Funeral Home, Parker, from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday from the funeral home, with the
Rev. May Mefford, pastor of the Church of God, Dutch Hill, officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
Members of the Rebekah Lodge will meet at 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home to conduct memorial services.
