Juanita passed away Saturday in Vitas Hospice Care accompanied by family.
She was born to Minnie Mae and Chester L. Spurlock.
Juanita graduated from Pineland High School and was very active in sports, going to the State finals in tennis. She attended the Pineland Church of Christ and while in Houston, the Spring Woods Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Bertis Lee Clark in 1976, and E. W. Futch in 1998, after which she moved to Houston from Pineland to live with her daughter.
Survivors include her son, James Jerry Clark, Sr. and his wife Nell, her daughter Linda Lee Holzmueller and husband Randy, four grandchildren, James Jerry Clark, Jr, Tina Ann Turner, Cheryl Ann Sprabery, and Tammy Rene' Ortiz and husband Al; six great grandchildren, Rachel Ann Sprabery, Ashlee Rene' Sprabery, Ryan Lee McCleskey, Christopher Leon Ferrell, Kelly Ann Teinert, and Kyle Ray Turner and two great great grandchildren, Connor Zane McCleskey and Cameron Ray Teinert.
