Karen Vallet LaRose, 62, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, in Sugar Land, Texas. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan.17, 2009, in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. Burial follows in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 24, 1946, in Rosenberg, to Gilbert G. and Ruth Ellen Vallet. Karen was a sales representative for a marketing company. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, James R. LaRose; parents, Gilbert G. Vallet and Ruth Ellen Bezecny Vallet; four children, Christopher Ray Elmore, Troy Shawn Elmore, Craig Allan Elmore and Robyn Ruth Meduna; mother-in-law, A.A. LaRose; two brothers-in-law, Robert W. LaRose Jr. and Michael L. LaRose; step-son, Jason R. LaRose; brother, Gilbert George Vallet Jr.; and granddaughter, Brooke Avery Elmore.
Services are under the direction of Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg, 281-341-8800.
