This is my Aunt Lela, she was my mom's sister. She was very happy and laughed a lot. She was a daughter of James Frederick and Martha Jane Merriott Caldwell, and the wife of Roy Adams. Aunt Lela had 3 children Rebecca Lee Adams of Athens, Ga.; 2 sons Michael Lynwood Adams, and John Roy Adams of Williamsburg.

My mom called me and said my precious aunt died from lung cancer. Before that it started as breast cancer. I rushed over and mom and I hugged and cried together. The world lost a wonderful woman when Aunt Lela left this world.
