This child of Fred and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Meyer) Lichte was not quite ten years old when he died. He was laid to rest in 1881 at the side of his brother, John, in the Carrell Cemetery, which was within sight of the Lichte residence. This photo was taken circa 2004. There are times when the Billy goats are allowed to graze in the cemetery in an effort to keep weeds under control. This Lichte descendant believes that to be a most appropriate gesture to maintain the cemetery!
