Agnes M. Ogden Bauserman, 87 , a well known resident of Strasburg, passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Strasburg, VA on April 12, 1921, a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Pearl L. Chrisman Ogden. She was the widow of L.D. "Jack" Bauserman who preceded her in death on September 5, 2001. She was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bauserman was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was known to everyone as "Aggie". Both her family and friends enjoyed her uplifting personality. She worked along side her husband for over 60 years, building their livestock trucking business, Bauserman's Transfer, Inc. She served as the vice-president from 1978 until 2000 when the business ceased operation. Her philosophy was, "Save it for a rainy day, and if that day doesn't come, then give it to someone who needs it." She was admired and loved by all who knew her for gift of seeing the "glass half full". Aggie will greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Reginald E. "Jackie" Bauserman (September 28, 1997). Four sisters, and two brothers.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce L. Jenkins and husband, Bobby of Strasburg; one grandson, Joel W. Bauserman; two nephews; one niece.

A funeral service for Mrs. Bauserman will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Edward P. Winkler officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott. D. Stickley, Steven Stickley, Sheldon Stickley, Dennis Fravel, Terry "Butch" Dellinger, and Dixon Orndorff. Flowers will be accepted or those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Strasburg United Methodist Church, 114 W. Washington Street, Strasburg, VA 22657, Strasburg Rescue Squad, P.O.
