Frank Carter, Native of Augusta, Dies Here Monday at Age of 64
Frank Carter, 64, of 223 West Dewey, a piano tuner in Wichita for many years, died Monday in a local hospital after a lingering illness. He was born in Augusta, but spent most of his life here. He was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie Carter, and four brothers, James Carter, Beaver, Okla.; Roy Carter, Satanta, Kan., and William and Clark Carter, both of Wichita.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Flanagan-Bourman chapel, with Rev. O.S. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
