Mr. Hugh McDonald Pyatte, 76, of Banner Elk, the Foscoe community, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Watauga Medical Center.
He was born April 9, 1929, in Avery County, to the late Earl and Louise Fox Pyatte (Cobb).
Mr. Pyatte was a retired sawmill worker from Dock Byrd Sawmill and was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Earl Pyatte; and his step-father, George Cobb.
Services were conducted at Watauga Baptist Church
Burial followed in the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery.
