Neal, or Nelius, was the son of Frank and Jennie McElfresh found in the 1900 census of Wood County, West Virginia.
He married (2nd?)to Dorothy M. Yerian.

NEAL McELFRESH FUNERAL HELD
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Neal McElfesh 73, who died Friday at 3:10 p.m. at Holzer Hospital.
A native West Virginia, he resided on Jackson route five and spent most of his life in this county. He was a construction worker and a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and 12 children - sons Earl, Jack, Charles, Jerry, Donald, Michael and Thurman; daughters: Virginia, Joyce, Jennie, Connie and Mary Louise. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Edith Lewis.
The Rev. James Burge conducted funeral services at Sperry funeral home. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
