Scott Ledbetter
Saltville--Scott Ledbetter, 76, died Tuesday in a local hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Collins Ledbetter, four sons, Gilmer Ledbetter, Saltville, Ritchie Ledbetter, Cleveland, Ohio, Robert Ledbetter, Carmilla, Ga., and Bill Ledbetter, Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Erma Hill, Alexandria, and Mrs. Juanita Elmore, Greeneville, Tenn; one sister, Mrs. Iris Albany, Florida; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville with Mr. Carl Fair officiating. Burial in the Elizabeth Cemetery. The body will remain at the Henderson Funeral Home Thursday afternoon and night where the family will receive friends.

Interment: 6 December 1974

Scott was a laborer at The Mathieson Alkali Works and also served in WWI.
