Born at Ruby Hill, Eureka Co., Nevada, son of Edward Henry and Elizabeth (Johns) Moyle. Worked as a newspaper man in Eureka, Fallon, Lovelock and Elko. Married Marie Richie on 1 Oct 1935 at Elko. Disappeared from Eureka on 17 April 1940. On 8 August of that year his body was found in the Truckee River in Washoe County and identified by a silver belt buckle and other articles. Although foul play was ruled out, the circumstances of the disappearance remain a mystery. Buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Reno.
