Rites Slated For Victim of Smashup

Funeral for Isaac Edward (Ike) SELLERS, 61, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Elliott's Chapel of Memories.

Officiating will be the Rev. A. A. WATSON, pastor of the Ash St. Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. R. U. RISER Jr., pastor of the East Side Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. SELLERS, of 2118 Lillius St., had operated a barbershop at 1928 Ambler Ave. for the past 2 1/2 years.

He died Friday night in Hendrick Memorial Hospital from injuries received Wednesday when his car was in collision with a dump truck at the Intersection of the Old Anson Road and the West Bypass (U.S. 83). SELLERS was the only person injured in the crash.

Born Jan. 13, 1897, in Brown County, he moved here three years ago from Sweetwater.

Survivors include three daughters, Pansy, Eunice and Gloria Ann; one son, Isaac Edward Jr.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Fannie KIRBY of Wichita Falls; two half-brothers, Fred and Paul SELLERS of Abilene; one half-sister Mrs. Alfred MOORE of Abilene; and one step-daughter, Mrs. R. U. RISTER Jr. of Abilene.

Pallbearers will be Mack HENSON, Melvin HENSON, Roma BICE, Jake CAGLE, John HATFIELD and Frank SPANN.
