MRS. MARY A. BARNETT,
Widow of David Barnett, and for the past twenty-five years a resident of Cross Keys, died at the home of her son Harvey B. Miller, at Cross Keys, Sunday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock, death being attributed to complications.
She was born in Freedom township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Harker, Dec. 11, 1847. On Dec. 31, 1871, she was united in marriage with Jacob W. Miller. To this union, one son, Harvey B. Miller,was born. On April 5, 1881, she was united in marriage with George Kring, who died some years later and she was united in marriage on Aug. 28, 1892, with David Barnett, who died 19 years ago.
She is survived by one son, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Albert Harker of Lakemont, and two sisters, Mrs. William B. Butler of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Daniel G. Ressler of East Freedom.
She was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran church. Funeral services will be conducted in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren by her pastor Rev. Isaac Krider, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the Carson Valley cemetery.
Mrs. Barnett was a sister of the late Joseph Harker, who died recently in Duncansville.

DAVID BARNETT
Died yesterday at his home at Beryl, aged 75 years. Deceased was a veteran of the civil war, having been a member of company A, One hundred and Twenty-fourth regiment Pennsylvania volunteers. He was a member of Post 82, Grand Army of the Republic, of Roaring Spring. The funeral will take place at Claysburg Sunday morning at 11 o'clock and will be in charge of the Grand Army of the Republic. Interred in Union Cemetery
