Rufus Case was a Revolutionary soldier. He enlisted with the Connecticut Continental Troups on 4 May 1778 and discharged 31 Dec 1778. Both Rufus and his second wife, Rachel Goddard, applied for his pension, Rachel doing it, of course, after Rufus passed away. Rachel mentioned that she had been the caretaker for his first wife, before Huldah Holcombe passed away.
