Eugene Christoffersen, 75, passed away December 5, 2002, at the Brigham City Community Hospital. He was born March 2, 1927, in Hyde Park, Utah, the son of George Christian and Lizzy Kirby Christoffersen.

He married Lois Elaine Petersen on November 10, 1950, in the Logan LDS Temple. He grew up in Hyde Park and was educated at Hyde Park Elememtary and North Cache High School. He served in the Navy during WWII. He raised game birds as a hobby. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. His family loved listening to his colorful stories of days gone by. He was an Elder in the Hampton Ford Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He assisted in many service-related projects for the church.

He is survived by his wife Lois of Fielding; his children, Cathy (David) Evans, Ogden; Craig Eugene (Gwen) Christoffersen, Fielding; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Golda Follett and Kathryn Raymond. His parents and ten siblings preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at the Fielding LDS Stake Center, 4375 West 15600 North, Fielding. Friends may call Monday, December 9th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Church. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
