Mrs. Snell a lifetime resident of Old Pearl community spent her life being a loving wife, mother and grandmother and serving her community. She received the Lifetime Presidents Call to Service Award in the Old Pearl RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) where she was a member, supervisor, and treasurer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Snell; brothers, Charlie Allen (Buck) Bridges and John L. Bridges; and sister, Annie McDonald.
She is survived by sons, Bobby Joe (Janice) Snell, Charlie (Evelyn) Allen, and Douglas (Courtney) Snell, all of Harrisville; daughters, Glenda (Buddy) Middleton and Shirley Saxton both of Florence, and Mary Snell of Harrisville; sister, Lecy Purvis of Florence; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
