VIDA BEVERLY ROBERTS

Services for Vida Beverly Roberts, 55, of 612 Elias Ave., Rock Springs were conducted Friday, March 11 at the Vase Funeral Home. The Bishop C. Allen Green officiated.

Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

John F. Roberts, Kelly Roberts, Tony Demshar, George Berkel, Chuck Wimer and Mike Gunyan served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Roberts died Tuesday, March 8 at her home of natural causes.

She was born in Brigham City on June 24, 1927, the daughter of the late Frank C. and Lillie Whitaker King. She attended schools in Inkom, Idaho and was a graduate of high school there. She married John W. Roberts in Elko, Nev. on Nov. 24, 1947. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her husband, John of Rock Springs; four sons, John F. Roberts of Lyman, James Lee Roberts of Denver, Colo., Kelly and Jeff Roberts, both of Rock Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Leno (Dixie) Abodaca of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mrs. George (Jo Lynn) Berkel, Juanita Roberts and Darla Roberts, all of Rock Springs; one sister, Ruby Steed of Inkom, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by two sons, William E. Roberts, who died March 16, 1974 and Wayne Roberts, who died Aug. 25, 1973.
