Funeral services for Mary Riedel, 75, of 107 Bellview Dr. were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31 at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. The Rev. Gregory O'Kelly officiated.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers included Joe Legerski, John Legerski, John Legerski Jr., Andy Legerski, Stanley Tominc and John Frolic.
Mrs. Riedel died at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 21 at the Kimberly Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1900 at Wier, Kansas. A Rock Springs resident since 1953, she formerly resided at Red Lodge, Mont.
She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Letellier DeShayes. She married Joseph J. Reidel at Roundup, Mont. on Jan. 23, 1919.
She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, The Royal Neighbors of America, and the American Fraternal Unoin Lodge 18.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph of Sheridan; a daughter, Mrs. Michael A. (Lorraine K.) Legerski of Rock Springs; a sister, Mrs. Julia Hubert of Helena, Mont.; three grandchildren, Don Legerski of Lander, Michael J. Legerski and Kathy Legerski of Rock Springs; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son who died in infancy, one sister, Erma Larson, and two brothers, Joe and Camille DeShayes.
