Perry C. Allen, 83, of 2403 Colcord Avenue died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in a Waco Hospital. He as a longtime Waco used car dealer.
Funeral services will e a 1 p.m. today at Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel, Dr. A. Norman Evans officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lampasas.
Mr. Allen was born in Lampasas, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Allen. He moved to Waco in 1917 and opened a tire and oil business.
Mr. Allen later entered the new and used automobile business. He suffered a heart attack Friday at his used car lot at 1924 Franklin Avenue and had been in the hospital since then.
He was a member of waco Lodge No. 92, A.F. and A.M. and Waco Chapter and Council. He was a charter member of Karem Temple and was a former member of Waco Rotary Club.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Goddard Jr. of Lubbock; one son Perry Jack Allen of Denter, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Eugene Key of Lampasas; one brother, Chester L. Allen of Austin; and three grandchildren.
