Daniel Chasnoff, age 89, died Monday, December 29, 2008.
He was a Life Member of Bnai Brith and the Lions Club.
Daniel is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Rosalie Lena Einhorn Chasnoff.
He is survived by: his two sons, Barry Chasnoff and wife, Sallie of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Ira Chasnoff and wife, Carol of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Shelly Renee Young of Reno, Nevada; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at noon on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, Shearith Israel Cemetery in Wharton, Texas with Rabbi Allison Bergman Van officiating.
Shiva was held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the home of Barry and Sallie Chasnoff, 619 Contour Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
