Thomas Knox 'Bully' Black, aged 89, of Sage died Wed., Oct. 31, in an Izard County nursing home. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by four nephews, James L. Wren of Wenatchee, Wash., Homer Wren of Sage and R. K. Black of Wenatchee, Wash., Elvis Black of Sage, Ar.; five nieces, Mrs. Tracy Lee Shaver, Mrs. Ernestine Sims and Mrs. Charlene Arnold of Wenatchee, Wash., Mrs. Verna Bell Hall of Melbourne and Mrs. Johnnie Morris of Columbia, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Wren of Wenatchee, Wash.
Funeral service was Fri., Nov. 2, 1973 at 2:00 p.m. in the Melbourne Church of Christ with Bill Jones officiating. Burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Sage by Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Curtis Dale, Noil Walker, John Copeland, Harry Clark, Jr., Ray Womack and Paul Cooper.
