Mrs Maude Ray Oldfield, age 91, died in a nursing care home in Arma at 3 am today. She had been in failing health several years.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1889 in Dade County, Mo, to William and Hulda Jane Hevel and came to the McCune area at an early age. Her first marriage was to Grover C Harrington. In 1930 she and Chester Oldfield were married. He died in 1959.
Mrs. Oldifeld was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Among survivors are a son Darold Harrington of Portland Ore, a sister Mrs. Pearl McCaslin of Girard eight grandchildren 15 great-grand-children and numerous great-great-grandchildren
One son and one brother preceded her in death
Services are scheduled at 2 pm Saturday at the Stewart Funeral Home in McCune with the Rev James Story as ministe. Burial will be in McCune Cemetery.
