Annie appears to have died sometime before June 1900. There is a child, Willie Caldwell (1899-1900), listed in Whittington Cemetery so I am of the belief that Annie died in childbirth in 1899 or shortly thereafter since she is not seen with her husband on the June 2, 1900 U.S. Federal Census in Sulpher Township, Montgomery Co, Arkansas. He is shown as widowed at this time.
