GOOD PEOPLE GONE

Mrs. James Soles, an estimable pioneer, living 12 miles south of Andalusia, died and was laid to rest in the Red Oak Cemetery last week. Last Sunday the husband, James Soles, died. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Red Oak Church. The attendance was large. Rev. Raley officiated. Deceased was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Andalusia Masons officiated at the funeral. Perhaps twenty-five members of the order went down to the home in cars and carriages. The deceased husband and his aged companion were devout Christians. They were among Covington County's best known and highly respected pioneers. Several children survive. Rest in Peace.
