Charles B. Caldwell, 70, of Saginaw died Thursday, Sept 3, 1992, in a Bedford hospital.
Born in Parker County on April 20, 1922, he was a welder in the oil field. A Baptist, he belonged to the Lake Worth VFW and was a veteran of World War II, serving as a paratrooper.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Caldwell of Saginaw; daughter, Sherry Herring of Springtown; two sisters, Almeda Blair and Ruby Bod, both of Munday; brother, Leslie Caldwell of Stamford; and two granddaughters, Misty and Brenna.
Services will be held 2 pm Saturday, Sept 5, in the chapel at White's Funeral Home of Springtown with the Rev. John Conway officiating. Burial will follow in the Springtown Cemetery.
White's Funeral Home of Springtown is in charge of the arrangements.
