Mildred Eleanor Grix was born Sept. 8, 1917, in Ogden, Utah. She was a homemaker who moved to the Portland area in 1955. She was a member of the Irvington Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1938, she married Fred W. Schott; he died in 1989.
Survivors include her sons. David and F. William; daughter, Cris Bloye; sister, Florence Randall; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
