Dorothy Elizabeth Rodgers was the daughter of Lidia Jane Campbell (1884-1959) and Clifford Lloyd Rodgers (1884-1943.

Obituary, Butler Eagle, August 11, 1931:

Dorothy Elizabeth Rodgers, aged 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rodgers, of Petrolia, died at the Butler County Memorial hospital at 6:55 o'clock this morning.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Petrolia, and a teacher in the Primary department of the Sunday school of that church.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rodgers; three sisters, Mrs. Harry O. Calhoun of Millvale, Belle and Ruth Rodgers at home, and a brother, Asa Rodgers, of Oklahoma.
The body was remover to the family home in Petrolia.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for Dorothy Elizabeth Rodgers, aged 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rodgers, of Petrolia, were announced today.
The body will be removed to the Methodist Episcopal church at Petrolia at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon where it may be viewed by friends until the time of the services.
Funeral services will be held from the Methodist Episcopal church in Petrolia at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon with the Rev. C. L. Downs, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Bear Creek cemetery.
