Marlene Sue Conder, 63, of Kennett, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at her home. She was born March 6, 1945, in Coldwater, Mo., the adopted daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Kegley) Holifield. She was adopted when a little girl after the death of her biological parents, Henry Dexter Holder and Ruby Wilkins Holder. She also had a brother, Renfro Wilkins Holder AKA Clifton William Nettles . He was adopted by a different family. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Clifton.
