CANTON - Pearl Jackovich, 100, of Canton passed away Monday, July 9, 2007, at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.

Born October 1, 1906 in Fulton County to John and Cora (Orr) Gilson, Pearl married Albert "Al" Jackovich, Dec. 28, 1935 in Virginia, IL. He died Oct. 27, 1986.

Surviving are two sisters, Lucille Ames and Madeline Schmider; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Arthur, Cecil, Denver and Everett Gilson; and four sisters, Mary Gilson, Jennie Bennett, Bessie Kelly and Mildred Yerbic.

She was a homemaker. She was of Catholic Faith.

A graveside service will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Canton.
