MYRTLE BEACH | Charles Forrest Baugher Sr, 80, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 15, 1925, in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Charles Ralph and Elsie Mae Kilmon Baugher. Mr. Baugher was associated with the Freedom Inn in Baltimore for many years. He was an army veteran of World War II and received the Bronze Star, and also a veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Ruth Buckner Baugher; two sons, Frank Flora (Darlene) and Charles F. Baugher (Cindy), both of Baltimore; his sister, Nancy Lea Smalley of Myrtle Beach; his brother, Dr. David Saul Baugher of Houston; three grandchildren, Christine and Kimberly Flora, and Charles F. Baugher III.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am., Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southeastern Memorial Gardens.
