Thacker, 84, a resident of Dickens County for 43 years, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday while visiting a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hobson in Andrews. -- A retired farmer, Thacker had been ill about a week. Funeral arrangements are pending at McDonald Funeral Chapel, Lubbock. Services will be held in Dickens. -- Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Hobson, Mrs. Eva Pierce, Dickens; Mrs. Thelma Gunn, Washington; and Mrs. Essie Fulbright, Arizona; four sons, Nathan, Idalou; Robert, Lefors; Riley, Guthrie; and Herman, Cottonwood, Ariz.; two brothers, Riley, Pear Valley; and Robert, Hunt; and four sisters, Mrs. Burley Hash, Arlington; Mrs. Eliga Barrick, Comanche; Mrs. Bertha Hutton, Spur; and Mrs. Nettie Srubblefield, Pueblo, Colo.
