K. D. Friddle Dies at Advanced Age of 89
King D. Friddle, died Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock at his home, 11 Speed Street, Monaghan mill, after a long illness, lasting two years. Mr. Friddle was one of the oldest residents at Monaghan village, having resided there for twenty years. He was 89 years of age. During these years he made numbers of friends who will regret to learn of his death. He served in the war between the States for four years. Besides his widow, he is survivied by three daughters, Mrs. E.L. Hamilton of Pickens County; Mrs. B.D. Ware, and Mrs. A.L. Staten; also three sons, C.M., D.C. and G.C. Friddle, all of this city. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
