Marion M. Van Deventer, 95, passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, five days after her 95th birthday.
Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, chapel of J.E. Foust Funeral Home, 523 S Main St., Grapevine, with Steve Ryan officiating. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Marion was a native and lifelong resident of Bransford, now Colleyville. She was also a lifelong member of the Second Day Advent Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, James C. Van Deventer. She was the widow of J.B. Van Deventer.
Survivors: Grandchildren, Shelly Guerrero and husband, Tav, Bedford, and Clint Van Deventer, Grand Prairie; great-grandchildren, Sean and Lauren Guerrero, Bedford; daughter-in-law, Mattie Lou Allen and husband, Stan, Euless; sister-in-law, Inez Morrison, Bedford; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
