Carlisle, Feb. 2 -- Mrs. Martha Ellen Whisler, 82, died Sunday night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Lay, North Middleton township.
She was the widow of Cyrus Whisler and is survived by four children, Mrs. Lay, Mrs. John Kotzmoyer, Carlisle; Mrs. James A. Sheaffer, Carlisle R.D.6, and Walter Whisler, Newville R.D.3; four brothers, Alfred, Addison and Oliver Barrick, all of Newville R.D., and Isaac Barrick, Newburg; four sisters, Mrs. Malinda Shultz, Shippensburg; Mrs. Lavina Peas, Newville; Mrs. Amanda Hoffman, Newburg, and Mrs. Ezmiah [sic] Hoover, Newville, and eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
