The funeral service for former Henry Countian Mary Eva Hutchens of Hazel Park, Mich., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Randy Stephens, minister of Sulphur Well Church of Christ and her grandson, Robert Bryant, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Hutchens, 92, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, in Michigan.

Born in Calloway County on Nov. 5, 1918, she was a daughter of the late James and Dessie Moore Taylor.

She was married on Nov. 26, 1937, to Aubon Marshall Hutchens, who died Sept. 21, 1995.

Hutchens was a homemaker. A member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ, she attended Hazel Park Church of Christ.

She leaves two daughters: Peggy (John) Bryant of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Pamela (Kevin) McRee of Yorktown, Va.; two sons: William (JoAnn) Hutchens and John (Sandy) Hutchens, both of Warren, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a son: Aubon B. Hutchens; four sisters: Myrtle Mills, Lathel Murkle, Ruth Bevill and Pauline Hutchens; and six brothers: Curtis, George, Marvin, J.P., Talvin and Cloys Taylor.
